Watermelon
You need:
-3,00 mm needles
-yarn in dark pink, green and brown
-tapestry needle
-piece of fabric for the back

Pattern:
Circle hot pad:

Make six

CO 4 sts, using pink yarn

Row 1: p

Row 2: k1, m1, k2, m1, k1 ( 6 sts)

Row 3: p

Row 4: k1, m1, k to last st, m1, k1 (8 sts)

Row 5: p

Repeat rows 4, 5 until you get 24 sts

Change to green yarn:

Next two rows: knit, then BO.

When you knit the last triangle make a loop to hang your hot pad this way:
After you change the yarn to green, knit one row, make 20 sts on the same row. Knit next row. Bind off.

Sew all six pieces to make circle shape.

Half circle hot pad:

Make three triangles; sew them together to get semicircular shape.
Embroider the seeds using brown yarn.
