You need:
-3mm needles
-acrylic yarn in light pink and light orange
Abbreviations:
CO - cast on
BO - bind off
k - knit
p - purl
k2tog - knit two
sts together
st st - stockinette
stitch
m1 - make one
Pattern:
Make 4. Two in
light pink, two in light orange.
CO 2 sts
Row 1: p
Row 2: k1, m1, k1
(3 sts)
Row 3: p
Row 4: k1, m1, k1,
m1, k1 (5 sts)
Row 5: p
Row 6: k1, m1, k to
last st, m1, k1 (7 sts)
Row 7: p
Repeat rows 6, 7
till you get 19 sts. Bind off.
Sew 4 parts
together with mattress stitch. Make a frame from straws and wire. Knit an I-cord for the top, (CO 2sts). Now take your
umbrella and go to the beach!
